The Best Morning Greens Smoothie

There are few things better than a sweet, sweet morning routine to start the day off right. Whether the green pigment of this prebiotic-rich smoothie scares you or entices you, it’s 1000% worth the try.

Only [6] earthy ingredients make up this simplistic, wholesome smoothie where you don’t have to worry about gathering a ton of fancy ingredients to create a lavish smoothie. Between ginger’s GI relief and anti-inflammatory properties, the fibrous fruits, and endless health benefits of spinach, this green smoothie has been my favorite morning addition of 2019.   • 1 1/2 C of kale or spinach (or a mix of both)
  • 1/2 C of cold water
  • 1 slightly under ripe banana
  • 1 green apple
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 4-5 ice cubes if you like your smoothie chilled
